1. No Financial Advice#

StratCraft is an AI-assisted quantitative trading software platform for research, strategy authoring, signal analysis, and local backtesting. The platform includes desktop software, C++ strategy execution tooling, AI-assisted code generation workflows, data-provider integrations, plugin marketplace features, dashboards, and related documentation. All content, data, algorithms, backtest results, signal scores, strategy outputs, and AI-generated analysis are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

  • StratCraft does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or trading recommendations
  • StratCraft is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner
  • StratCraft is not endorsed by or affiliated with FINRA, SEC, or any other financial regulatory authority
  • Any performance figures, equity curves, hit-rates, Sharpe / IC / IR / drawdown values, signal rankings, state counts, screenshots, or dashboard examples shown on public marketing pages are illustrative placeholders, not real account performance or verified live trading results
  • Signal Scoreboard entries, generated strategies, AI explanations, plugin outputs, and backtest reports are research artifacts, not recommendations to buy, sell, hold, short, or otherwise trade any instrument

2. Risk of Trading and Investment#

Trading and investing in financial markets involves substantial risk of loss, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of principal: You may lose some or all of your invested capital
  • Loss exceeding initial investment: In certain instruments (futures, margin trading, derivatives), losses may exceed your initial deposit
  • Algorithmic trading risks: Automated trading strategies may incur losses faster than manual trading due to design errors, connectivity issues, unexpected market conditions, data inaccuracies, or execution failures
  • Market risk: Financial markets are inherently volatile and unpredictable
  • Technology risk: Software bugs, system outages, local build failures, compiler or runtime errors, network failures, data feed interruptions, or third-party service outages may result in incorrect analysis, unintended trades, or missed opportunities
  • AI generation risk: AI-generated strategy code, parameters, explanations, and analysis may be incomplete, incorrect, overfit, or unsuitable for live trading
  • Plugin and integration risk: Third-party plugins, data providers, broker connections, exchanges, and APIs may fail, change behavior, provide inaccurate data, or introduce security and operational risks

3. No Guarantees of Performance#

  • There are no promises, guarantees, or warranties that any trading strategy, algorithm, or backtest result will produce a profit or avoid a loss
  • Past performance is not indicative of future results — historical backtest results, simulated returns, and paper trading performance do not guarantee real-world trading outcomes
  • Hypothetical performance limitations: Backtest, signal-scoring, and simulated results have inherent limitations. Unlike actual trading, simulated results do not fully account for real-world factors including but not limited to:
    • Market liquidity and slippage
    • Execution delays and partial fills
    • Survivorship bias, look-ahead bias, data vendor corrections, or incomplete historical coverage
    • Psychological and emotional factors
    • Transaction costs and fees that may vary
    • Market impact of actual order placement
  • Local C++ backtests, generated strategy code, factor libraries, AI-assisted workflows, and plugin outputs are research tools and may not adapt to future market conditions

4. User Responsibility#

By using StratCraft, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All trading decisions are yours alone — you are solely responsible for your own investment decisions and any resulting profits or losses
  • You should conduct your own research and consult with a qualified, licensed financial advisor before making any investment decisions
  • You are responsible for understanding the risks associated with any trading strategy or instrument you choose to use
  • You will not rely solely on StratCraft tools, generated C++ strategy code, signal rankings, plugin outputs, backtest reports, or AI-generated content as the basis for investment decisions
  • You are responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, monitoring, and controlling any strategy, model, automation, or broker/API connection before using it with real capital
  • You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction regarding trading and investment activities

5. Limitation of Liability#

  • StratCraft, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
    • Your use of or inability to use the platform
    • Any trading decisions made based on information provided by the platform
    • Losses resulting from algorithmic strategies created, generated, compiled, tested, validated, exported, deployed, or otherwise used after interacting with the platform
    • Losses or damages arising from third-party plugins, data providers, broker or exchange APIs, BYOK LLM providers, generated code, local execution tooling, or user-provided configuration
    • Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in any data, content, or analysis
    • System downtime, build failures, data feed interruptions, network issues, or technical failures
  • The platform is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • StratCraft's total liability is capped as set out in the Limitation of Liability section of the Terms of Service. That section is the single, controlling statement of the cap
  • In the event of any conflict between this disclaimer and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail

6. Data and Information Accuracy#

  • Market data, financial information, and analytical results provided by StratCraft are sourced from third-party providers and may contain errors, delays, or inaccuracies
  • StratCraft does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any data or information displayed on the platform
  • Historical data used for backtesting, signal discovery, factor analysis, or model training may not perfectly reflect actual market conditions at the time of the original data points
  • Free, premium, imported, or user-provided datasets may differ in symbol coverage, corporate-action handling, timestamp normalization, liquidity assumptions, and survivorship characteristics

7. Regulatory Compliance#

  • StratCraft does not operate as a financial institution, exchange, or trading venue
  • StratCraft does not custody funds, execute orders on your behalf, or guarantee access to any broker, exchange, data provider, or market
  • Users are solely responsible for ensuring their trading activities comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax obligations in their respective jurisdictions
  • The availability of StratCraft does not constitute authorization or endorsement for trading in any specific market or jurisdiction

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using any feature of the StratCraft platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Investment Disclaimer in its entirety.
